License for Learning
Purchase a "Support Education" license plate. Show the community
that you support the students and teachers in our public
schools. Each time a Lee County resident purchases or renews a
"Support Education" license plate, $20.00 is donated to The
Foundation. |
Mentor
Take Stock in Children is a unique scholarship program as it
matches middle and high school scholarship recipients with adult
community mentors. Students who have mentors are proven to have
a higher academic success rate than those students who do not
meet with a mentor. There are many scholars who need an adult in
their lives. Show a student that you care about their future and
they will show you how much they do! |
Teacher Resource Center
The Teacher Resource Center is a program that allows educators
free access to new and reusable supplies to use in their
classroom. Teachers love this program, it gives them what they
need to prepare their students and they do not have to reach
into their own pockets to make it happen. Consider donating
items from your business and/or home that you are no longer
using. Our teachers and students can put them to good use. |
Scholarships
Purchase a scholarship for a student. An investment of $6,000
will purchase a four year college tuition scholarship for a Take
Stock in Children Scholar. An investment of $1,500 will purchase
a Carson Scholars Fund Scholarship. An investment of $30,000
will endow an elementary school with the Carson Scholars Fund
Scholarship, meaning a student from that school will receive a
scholarship each year in perpetuity. |
