Our annual Partners in Education/State of Our Schools event gives the School District of Lee County an opportunity to recognize all the outstanding business partners the community has that help support the schools. Representatives of all Lee County Public Schools, as well as one of their business partners, are invited to socialize and enjoy breakfast provided by Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. This themed event also gives our Superintendent the opportunity to update the business community on the “State of Our Schools”. This is a well attended event and always lots of fun!

At this event, we acknowledge several members of the community for their extraordinary service they provide to the schools! These individuals are nominated by their school's principals and goes through a selection process. Once we have chosen a recipient, their name gets sent to Florida Department of Education for a chance to become the State of Florida's recipient.
