A Message from our Board Chair
Our schools are keys to a vibrant and thriving community -- and the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools is proud to have supported our educators and students for over 38 years. As the 8th largest school district in the State of Florida with over 103,000 students, our Foundation recognizes the challenges of educating a large, diverse student body in today’s highly competitive, complex and fast- changing environment.
We’re a business- and community-led foundation, providing financial support for outstanding student programs, scholarships, classroom grants, educator recognition, mentoring programs, career discovery and much more. As a collection of small business owners, large employers, growing companies, higher education, and community leaders – we’re dedicated to ensuring that every one of our students has access to a quality education regardless of circumstances. We know that a community supportive of its education system is self-sustaining and leads to positive citizenship, a robust productive workforce, and builds future community leaders.
We are passionate about our community, the schools, educators, and students, and we’re privileged to serve on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools in partnership with our Superintendent and the School Board. We greatly appreciate your continued support of the Foundation, whether through financial contributions, donations of supplies and materials, or your valuable time in showing support for our educators and students.
Sincerely,
