The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools Announces 2024 Golden Future Recipients
The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools is pleased to announce this year’s Golden Futures Scholarship recipients. This scholarship was the brainchild of the 2013 Golden Apples and was developed to promote and support interest in high school seniors who want to become teachers. The scholarships are a partnership between the Foundation, Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida SouthWestern State College. The scholarship covers four years of tuition. In return, the recipients pledge to work in The School District of Lee County Public Schools for four years upon graduation. This year’s recipients are Olivia Arevalo attending FGCU for Special Education and Annabelle Barbot attending FSW for Early Childhood Education.
