The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools Announces Seven New Board Members
Fort Myers, FL (March, 3, 2020) – The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc., has added seven new Board Members to their Board of Directors.
The New Board Members are as follows:
Amira Fox – State Attorney 20th Judicial Court
Deana Homsi – Owner/Operator, McDonald’s
Lawrence Cremia – Chief Financial Officer, Fiber Solutions
Andrew Reddish – Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor Bank of America
Kevin Shimp – Chief Executive Office, Thomas Marine Construction
Gay Thompson – President, Cement Industries
Peter Tuffo – President, Suffolk Construction
“I have always been a strong supporter in empowering people through education. Education helps create confidence, knowledge, and capability”, says Deana Homsi, Owner and Operator of McDonald’s. “I have been involved in furthering the education of my employees but I felt that I needed to do more. This is why I joined the Foundation as a board member. I’m excited to be able to support a Foundation that truly supports teachers and student growth.”
The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools provides vital resources and programs to students and educators throughout the School District of Lee County. Foundation board members are assigned to committees and act as liaisons to the business community and community at large through engagement and awareness.
