Fort Myers, Fla. (August 31, 2021): The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc. held it’s annual Back to School Supply Drive this summer at several participating locations throughout Lee County and at the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. Donations benefitted the Foundation’s Education Resource Center which provides Lee County School District educators access to new and reusable classroom supplies at no cost.

“We’re thrilled that our employees and generous customers helped us collect hundreds of needed school supplies to support the Education Resource Center at The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools”, stated Amy McQuagge, VP of Marketing of Sanibel Captiva Community Bank.  “As a community bank, we value our partnership with the Foundation and the important work they do for our Lee County public school teachers and their students”.

We are blessed to have so many business and community partners who are passionate about education and the need to support our students and teachers.

Thanks to the efforts made by local businesses and individuals, The Back to School Supply Drive raised thousands of supplies for local students and educators.  The purpose of every initiative of The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools is to enhance and enrich the quality of public education in Lee County for students and educators. Every partnership helps us ensure that each student has an opportunity to reach their highest personal potential.

Gary Griffin, President of B&I Contractor states, “B&I Contractors, Inc. is a proud supporter of the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and we’re excited to once again participate in the Supply Drive for the Education Resource Center”.  “Our contributions to this important program assures that many students who are not able to obtain basic supplies will have what they need to succeed in the classroom.,  B&I believes every student deserves the opportunity to learn and grow in the classroom and this program goes a long way to delivering on this ideal”.
